INGREDIENTS :
CHUKKU RASAM - Ingredients-Tuvar dal, coriander seeds, red chillies, black pepper, jeera, curry leaves, dry ginger powder. To use - approx 1 tbsp for small gooseberry sized tamarind. Method - prepare just like regular rasam. You can add fresh ginger slices for an extra flavour. Serves 3-4.
THIPPILI RASAM - Ingredients-Tuvar dal, coriander seeds, red chillies, black pepper, jeera, curry leaves, long pepper powder. Method - prepare just like regular rasam. Adding dal is optional. Serves 3-4.
TULASI RASAM - Ingredients - tuvar dal, coriander seeds, jeera, black pepper, dried tulasi leaves, red chillies, curry leaves. Method - prepare just like regular rasam. You can use fresh tulasi leaves as a garnish for added flavour. Serves 3-4.
ADHIMADHURAM RASAM - Ingredients :Licorice, Coriander seeds, Tuvar dal, Red chillies, Black Pepper Corns, Jeera. Usage - use about 1 heaped tbsp for a small gooseberry sized tamarind, to make rasam, to serve 4 people. Method is same as regular rasam.
THUTHUVALAI RASAM - Ingredients - Thuthuvalai leaves, Coriander seeds, Tuvar dal, Red chillies, Black pepper corns, Jeera.Usage - use about 1 heaped tsp for a small gooseberry sized tamarind. Method is same as regular rasam
