Easy chakkara pongal mix with organic rice and organic jaggery.
How to make :
To a vessel, add the pre washed rice/dal mix and 6 times water. Boil gently until cooked. Once cooked, add the jaggery pack fully. Mix until melted , no need to clean the jaggery. Add 3-4 tbsp ghee and fry the included cashews and raisins. Top the chakkara pongal with the fried cashews, raisins and ghee. Serve hot and have a hassle free Pongal !
cooking this in pressure cooker will not give a good consistency and texture.
