Ingredients - coriander seeds, channa dal, sesame seeds, kopra, asafoetida, curry leaves, fenugreek, poppy seeds, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper, cumin, red chillies, urad dal . Strong flavours. Use about 3-4 tea spoon for 1 cup of rice. 

To make bisisbelebath - as a one pot meal - saute small onions in ghee /oil. chop veggies - carrots, beans, capsicum, green peas etc. Add rice - 1 cup and 3/4 cup toor dal (washed and drained ), chopped veggies, sauteed onions, salt, bisibelebath masala - 4-5 spoons for a cup of rice, tamarind extract from a small lemon sized tamarind, a small bit of jaggery. add enough water and pressure cook 3-4 whistles. Open and do tadka - ghee, mustard seeds, red chillies, hing, curry leaves, cashews. top with 3-4 tbsp ghee and freshly chopped coriander and serve with crunchy karuvadams or chips !
