Healthy thogayal using dried neem flowers/veppampoo
Ingredients
- Veppampoo 2 tbsp
- Curry leaves 2 tbsp
- Coconut 2 tbsp
- Urad dal 2 tbsp
- Red chillies 10
- Garlic 4 pods ( optional)
- Tamarind a small piece
- Jaggery to taste
- Salt

Directions
- Dry roast urad dal to golden brown
- Roast with sesame oil - red chillies, coconut, curry leaves, veppampoo & garlic. Take care not to burn any ingredient. Cool and grind coarsely.
- Tadka - oil, mustard seeds, urad dal, red chillies, curry leaves, pinch of hing.
Recipe Note
Note - you can use dry or fresh veppampoo.
