A healthy,nutritious,filling dinner / breakfast option!
Boiled rice - 2 cups
Raw rice - 1 cup
Combine and soak for 4-5 hours
Black spilt urad dal -3/4 cup
Toor dal - 3/4 cup
Red chillies - 4-5 or adjust to taste
Black pepper - 1 tsp
Soak the urad dal and toor dal 30 minutes prior to grinding. Grind rice coarsely. When half done, add the soaked dals etc. and grind to a very coarse mixture. Add salt and hing. Serve with @mylaporekitchens idli podi, butter and jaggery😋

Directions
Combine the 2 rice, wash well and soak for 4 to 5 hours.
Soak black pepper, urad dal ,toor dal and red chillies 30 minutes prior to grinding.
- Grind rice coarsely.
When half done, add the soaked dals and red chillies and grind to a very coarse mixture.
- Add salt and hing.
Do NOT ferment. Best used fresh. Refrigerate and use.
