The best combo with sevai !
Ingredients
- Potato - cubed - 2 medium sized.
- Tomatoes - 2-3 - cut into small pieces
- Onions - 2-3 - chopped fine
- Green chillies - 2-3 or to taste
- Mustard seeds
- Jeera
- Red chillies
- Curry leaves
- Asafoetida
- @mylaporekitchens turmeric powder
- @mylaporekitchens red chilli powder
- @mylaporekitchens coriander powder
- @mylaporekitchens jeera powder
- @mylaporekitchens wood pressed peanut oil
- Salt
Directions
- Heat kadai. Add oil. When oil splutters, temper with mustard seeds, jeera, red chillies, curry leaves, asafoetida.
- Add finely chopped onions, tomatoes and green chillies. Saute it a bit. Add cubed potatoes. Add salt. Add all spice powders. Mix well. Cover and cook for sometime.
- Add requisite water ( a cup or so) and cook for some more time until potatoes are cooked. Add water and adjust consistency. It should not be too thick or too watery. We generally do not add any thickening agents like rice powder or besan to this.
- Once done, garnish with finely chopped coriander and serve!
