A quick & easy microwave thoran recipe
Ingredients

Cabbages / Carrots / Beans / Green Peas

Directions
- Chop veggies finely. You can use cabbage, beans, carrots, green peas. Either any one or a mix. Wash. Drain.
- Add to a glass microwave container with a glass lid. Do not add extra water. Cover and cook.
- Time depends on quantity of veggies and your microwave. For my meals, I do a big glass container and do for 12-15 minutes.
- Remove as soon as it’s done. Transfer to plate, spread and let it cool. This helps retain crunchiness and the colour.
Heat Kadai. Add coconut oil. Temper with mustard seeds, urad dal, jeera, curry leaves, asafoetida. Add pre cooked veggies.
- Add salt. Sauté for a couple of minutes. Add crushed green chillies and grated coconut. Or pulse both together in mixie and add. Serve!
