Instant Paalada Payasam Mix - 150 gms
Ingredients - Milk solids, Rice flour, sugar
Method of preparation -
Boil 1 cup of water in a wide bottomed vessel. Empty the contents of the pack into the milk and let it boil gently for about 10 minutes. Add one litre of milk and boil until it starts thickening and gets to your desired consistency. Keep stirring the milk to prevent burning / lumps.
Once it reaches the desired consistency, switch off and it is ready to serve !
The 'ada' takes some time to cook well, so we recommend cooking it in some water before adding milk.
Alternatively, add the mix to a pressure cooker, add just enough water to cover and cook on high heat for one whistle. Let it rest. Meanwhile, boil milk in a thick bottomed vessel and let it reduce to 2/3. Open the cooker once pressure settles, add the mixture to the boiled milk and it is ready to serve !
